ANTONBLAST reaches PlayStation nearly two years on, and Australia gets it first
The demolition platformer arrives on PS5 and PS4 on October 1 in Australia and New Zealand, with the rest of the world following in mid-October. It has been on PC and Switch since December 2024.

ANTONBLAST is finally coming to PlayStation. Publisher Joystick Ventures and developer Summitsphere have set the PS5 and PS4 release for October 1 in Australia and New Zealand, with a worldwide rollout following in mid-October.
The staggered launch
The split is unusual and neither company has explained it. The practical upshot is that the game goes live wherever it is already October 1 - so Australian and New Zealand players get it first, and everyone else waits a fortnight or so. No exact worldwide date has been given, and no price has been announced for the PlayStation versions.
What it is
ANTONBLAST is a side-scrolling action platformer built entirely around wrecking things. You play as Dynamite Anton or his coworker Annie, swing a hammer through the scenery, and work your way toward Satan, who has taken Anton's collection of spirits. Levels are timed escapes as much as they are platforming - the official pitch is to set the detonators, find the spirits and get out before Happy Hour ends.
It is an old-school production in the best sense, with hand-drawn animation and a pace that owes a clear debt to the Wario Land games. It launched on PC on December 3, 2024 and on Nintendo Switch ten days later, and has held a strong reputation among people who play a lot of platformers since.
The PlayStation versions were announced back in October 2025 with only a 2026 window attached, so this is the date landing rather than the announcement.
Why it matters
One of the better-reviewed indie platformers of the last couple of years finally reaches the one platform family that has been waiting for it.
