Ghost of Yotei's roguelike mode and Sekigahara expansion land October 1, and Jin Sakai is playable
Sucker Punch's Complete Edition arrives on October 1 with Most Wanted, a bounty-run roguelike whose four fighters include Ghost of Tsushima's Jin Sakai, and the narrative expansion Echoes of Sekigahara. Existing owners pay $14.99; a free patch goes out to everyone.

Ghost of Yotei gets its biggest post-launch drop on October 1, when patch 2.0 lands and Sucker Punch turns the game into a Complete Edition. Two pieces of paid content come with it - a narrative expansion and a roguelike mode - and a free update goes out to everyone who already owns the game.
Most Wanted, and the man from Tsushima
Most Wanted is the headline. Senior communications manager Andrew Goldfarb describes it as Sucker Punch's spin on a roguelike: you pick a character, accept a bounty on one of the Yotei Six, and fight through escalating waves of enemies and minibosses, unlocking perks between waves to shape a build on the fly.
Four fighters are on the roster, and three of them come out of Ghost of Yotei itself. Atsu is the starter, with her dual katana, blinding metsubushi powder and a wolf-summoning ultimate. Oyuki brings a kusarigama, kunai and a tanegashima rifle, with a smoke-assassination ultimate. Nagato fights with a yari, a tanzutsu pistol and bows.
The fourth is Jin Sakai, and he is not free. Ghost of Tsushima's protagonist arrives with all four of his original combat stances, a sticky bomb and a hankyu, but you have to spend Mon - the mode's run currency - to unlock him. Sucker Punch has deliberately made hoarding currency a bad idea: Mon also buys techniques, weapon upgrades and cosmetics, and those cosmetics carry over into the main game.
Echoes of Sekigahara
The story side is Echoes of Sekigahara, which cuts between Atsu's present and flashbacks built around the battle the expansion is named for. It introduces Nagato as a figure from her past and opens a valley once held by The Snake and his followers, with new enemies, heavy weapons, armour sets and dyes attached.
What it costs
The Complete Edition is $69.99 and folds in the base game, the Legends co-op mode, the Digital Deluxe content, Most Wanted and Echoes of Sekigahara. Owners of the base game upgrade for $14.99. Everyone else still gets something: the free patch adds a Beauty of Yotei viewing mode, extra Watanabe Mode music, armour appearance customisation that keeps your stats, and a high contrast accessibility option.
The rollout is October 1 globally, with some territories including parts of Asia, Australia and New Zealand seeing it on October 2.
Why it matters
A roguelike built out of a full open-world combat system is a cheap way to keep a single-player game alive, and putting Jin Sakai in it is the first time the two Ghost games have shared a playable character.
