Supergiant has put its full Hades orchestral concert online for free

Ballads of the Underworld, the one-night Hades and Hades II concert played at London's Royal Festival Hall in June, is now watchable in full. Supergiant also released the first episode of a Noclip documentary about making Hades II.

Supergiant Games has released the full video of Ballads of the Underworld, the orchestral concert it staged with the Game Music Festival at London's Royal Festival Hall on June 27. The show was billed as a one-time-only event and streamed live once; the complete performance is now up for anyone to watch, and Eurogamer flagged it this week as one of the year's better pieces of game-music performance.

Who played it

The concert covers music from both Hades and Hades II, performed by the London Mozart Players under conductor Austin Wintory, with composer and audio director Darren Korb and vocalist Ashley Barrett joined by Judy Alice Lee, Erin Yvette and Colin Ryan, the voices of Melinoe, Scylla and Apollo. Songs performed include Good Riddance and Coral Crown.

There is a documentary too

The video went out as part of a Hades II first-anniversary post marking a year since the game left early access. In the same post Supergiant announced Developing Hell II, a multi-part Noclip documentary about the making of Hades II, with the first episode already on YouTube and early access to later episodes through Noclip's Patreon. The studio also says an album of the concert is coming to purchase and to free streaming services.

Why now

Hades II hit 1.0 in September 2025 after a long early access run, and was Supergiant's first sequel in roughly five years of development. The anniversary post is the studio's way of closing that chapter out, which also explains why a concert from June is only now going public in full.

Why it matters

Game concerts usually vanish after one night or sit behind a paid stream. Supergiant putting an entire orchestral performance of two of the best-scored games of the decade online for nothing is a rare thing, and the Noclip series gives the soundtrack some context.
