Marvel Rivals' October 1 patch is two skins and three fixes, with no downtime
NetEase's weekly Marvel Rivals update went live at 09:00 UTC with Luna Snow and Phoenix costumes, a fresh Pop & Win rotation and fixes for a Rogue description typo and a Jeff event matchmaking bug. Ignite Series playoff predictions open October 5.

Marvel Rivals' Version 20261001 patch went live on October 1 at 09:00 UTC. NetEase says it needs no server downtime - patch and play.
What is in the store
Two costumes lead it: Luna Snow's Lunar Luna and Phoenix's Cosmic Spark, plus Lunar Luna's Pink Planets and Dark Nebula chromas and an Ultimate Ability VFX to go with them. They run from October 2 at 02:00 UTC until October 30 at 02:00 UTC. The same two costumes are this week's Pop & Win entries, the discount draw that closes on October 16 at 02:00 UTC.
Three fixes
There is almost nothing here for balance watchers. Rogue's description for her stolen Adam Warlock ability had a typo claiming she could "fly freely"; NetEase has corrected it and noted she is staying grounded. A bug in the Jeff's Superstar Search event forced lobbies into Quick Match when players pressed the matchmaking button, which is now fixed, as is a UI glitch that left a Chroma's description text stuck on screen after it was deselected in the Customize menu.
Playoff predictions
Predictions for the Marvel Rivals Ignite Series Stage 2 Playoffs open on October 5, with a deadline per region: Pacific on October 8 at 05:50 UTC, EMEA on October 15 at 10:50 UTC, Americas on October 15 at 19:50 UTC and China on October 16 at 06:50 UTC. Making picks and watching through the in-game broadcast feeds event quests that pay out nameplates, titles and units.
Why it matters
Marvel Rivals ships something almost every week, and knowing which weeks are store-only saves you looking for balance changes that are not there. The useful detail this time is the set of regional prediction deadlines, which are easy to miss.
