Call of Duty's account has confirmed that the tiny, chaotic Shipment map is coming back in Modern Warfare 4, after players spotted it in a new PC trailer released September 29.

What happened

The trailer focused on PC options, including enhanced field of view, ultrawide support, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, and ray tracing. About 37 seconds in, gunfights among Shipment's shipping containers appear on screen, and the official account then acknowledged the map's return.

According to GameSpot and Dexerto, Shipment isn't in the announced launch map list, so it looks set to arrive after release. No date has been given.

Why it matters

Shipment has featured in every Modern Warfare entry since 2019 and is a fan favourite for quick, frantic matches. Modern Warfare 4 launches October 23, 2026.

Why it matters

Shipment is one of Call of Duty's most beloved and divisive maps, so its return shapes how players see MW4's multiplayer.
