A new Uncharted with Nathan Drake is reportedly Naughty Dog's next game after Intergalactic
MP1st reports that Naughty Dog has an Uncharted entry in early concept work, led by Lost Legacy creative director Shaun Escayg, with Nathan Drake returning in some form. Sony has said nothing about it.

Naughty Dog's next game after Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet is reportedly a new Uncharted, and Nathan Drake is said to be in it. None of that has been announced, and neither Naughty Dog nor Sony has commented.
What the report says
The claim originates with MP1st and was picked up on September 30 by Kotaku and IGN. It describes a brand-new entry rather than a remake or remaster, sitting behind Intergalactic in the studio's pipeline, with Shaun Escayg leading it. Escayg was creative director on Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, so he is not an outside hire for the series.
Drake's role is the vaguest part. The report has him appearing in some form without specifying whether that means protagonist, supporting character or a smaller cameo. Kotaku places the project at an early concept stage, which in practice means every detail is provisional, the game's existence included. The same write-up notes that leaker NateTheHate has separately said Escayg is on a new Uncharted and is not attached to Naughty Dog's Last of Us work.
How far away this would be
Intergalactic is not due a full reveal until 2027, and Naughty Dog said earlier this week that it has two more Last of Us projects running alongside it. An Uncharted that starts after Intergalactic finishes is therefore a long way out; coverage of the report frames it as something for the PlayStation 6's early years rather than this generation's back half.
Why it matters
Naughty Dog spent the last decade pointedly not making Uncharted games, and Intergalactic was pitched as the studio moving on to new worlds. A report that Drake is being lined up for a return is the first suggestion in years that the door was left open - which is also why it is worth treating carefully until someone at the studio says so.
Why it matters
Uncharted has been off the table at Naughty Dog for years while the studio pushed Last of Us and then Intergalactic, so any suggestion Nathan Drake is coming back reshapes what PlayStation's biggest first-party studio looks like into the next generation.
