Nvidia has reportedly stopped manufacturing the GeForce RTX 5090, including the D variants made for the Chinese market, according to GamesIndustry.biz and VGC.

What was reported

VGC says the reported reason is a focus on RTX Pro GPUs for AI data centres. PC Gamer also notes the card is "rumoured for the chop" on the fourth anniversary of the RTX 4090 launch.

Why it matters

The RTX 5090 is the flagship gaming GPU, so a production stop could affect availability and prices for anyone shopping for a top-end card.
